From the Tiller-Hewitt Newsroom:
Proof of growth – as always – is in the numbers.
The Physician-Hospital Relations Program continues to gain acknowledgment across the country as hospitals far and wide experience first-hand the benefits of our flagship program. In 2014, we added contracts in 15 states and 24 markets.
Tiller-Hewitt has entered into 43 new partner engagements with hospitals and health systems for their Physician Liaison | Strategic Sales Program during the first nine months of 2014. The new business represents hospitals in 15 states, which represent 24 markets and more than 8,500 beds.
“Our clients choose Tiller-Hewitt’s Physician Liaison | Strategic Sales Program because it delivers measurable results,” noted Tammy Tiller-Hewitt, chief executive officer. “Our Physician Liaison | Strategic Sales Program is anchored in continuous improvement through a Lean Six Sigma approach providing, a powerful, proven method of improving business efficiency and effectiveness. This process helps us to identify and remove barriers before we grow business for our clients.”
The Physician Liaison | Strategic Sales Program increases Tiller-Hewitt’s client top line revenue by more than $2 million in year one of the engagement and increases market share by way of systematic outreach efforts in the hospitals’ primary and secondary markets through direct line communication with providers.
“More and more hospitals and health system leaders recognize the need for new means of collaboration and communication with physicians,” noted Thomas Tiller II, chief operating officer. “Robust Hospitalist programs, decreased physician rounding along with the shift in focus from inpatient to outpatient service line growth—they all diminish the touch points for hospitals with physicians. Our Physician Liaison | Strategic Sales Program meets that need; it drives increased communication and collaboration,” he added.
The most recent 43 hospitals to utilize the Physician Liaison | Strategic Sales Program range in size from 63 beds to 412 beds and cover the range of acute and tertiary care hospitals and health systems. They include large urban and community hospitals, regional medical centers, physician-owned hospitals, specialty-care hospitals, pediatric hospitals, academic teaching hospitals and integrated health systems.
