From the Tiller-Hewitt Newsroom:
We are pleased to announce a new multi-hospital network engagement with Premier Health, and extended engagements with South Central Regional Medical Center and Halifax Health, which are indicative of the growth in demand which is driving our growth thus far in 2015.
Premier Health is a comprehensive integrated health care system serving a nine-county area in southwest Ohio with five hospitals, approximately 14,000 employees and more than 2,400 physicians. Tiller-Hewitt will work with administrative and clinical leaders, and develop a team physician relations managers, to create and deliver accountable professional outreach solutions that enhance physician engagement and drive sustainable growth in Premier’s comprehensive service line offerings.
With the addition of Premier, Tiller-Hewitt has delivered its Physician-Hospital Relations program to 120 hospitals in 23 states. Clients have ranged throughout the spectrum of clinic and health systems sizes, from Mayo Clinic, BJC Health Care and VCU Medical Center to Critical Access Hospitals such as 22-bed Franklin Hospital which recently announced a financial turnaround and facility expansion.
“We’re exceedingly grateful for the partnerships our clients build with us,” noted Tammy Tiller-Hewitt, chief executive officer. “The results we’ve achieved together would not be possible without that level of engagement, from the C-suite to the front lines.”
The primary factor in the firm’s sustained growth is hospital executives choosing to establish, extend or diversify their engagement with Tiller-Hewitt based on the need for measurable value and return on investment.
“When we complete our initial Physician-Hospital Relations Program engagement, we have achieved or exceeded the hospital’s growth goals, and our clients’ professional outreach teams are ready to fly solo,” Tiller-Hewitt said.
“Yet, many clients now opt to continue with our supportive data-insight reporting services; Lean rapid improvement events and value stream mapping; and team-building training.”
South Central Regional Medical Center and Halifax Health recently extended their Tiller-Hewitt engagement to support sustainable retention and revenue growth.
“By keeping the physician and patient at the center, Tiller-Hewitt’s Lean initiatives and growth teams drive rapid improvement and immediate revenue, but truly form the foundation for sustainable growth,” said Linda Gavin, vice president of South Central Regional Medical Center, Laurel, Miss.
“We retained Tiller-Hewitt to re-launch our in-house physician relations program. The transformation has been remarkable and measurable. We’re ready to add our second liaison with the confidence that we have the right systems, data, and people in place,” said Ann Martorano, FACHE, executive vice president/chief operating officer, Halifax Health, Daytona Beach, Fla.
Tiller-Hewitt is also experiencing high demand for our robust onboarding, navigation, mentoring and engagement program. Health systems engage in the program to quickly ramp-up physicians and advanced practitioners in their clinical practices. This program measurably accelerates new physician productivity and increases physician retention.
“We help hospitals meet the multi-million dollar revenue challenges that require them to increase their value and engagement with providers – whether employed or independent,” noted Thomas Tiller II, chief operating officer. “Challenges like these intensify the need to improve communication and collaboration with physicians, and deliver value to their practices. When that happens, productivity and retention increase, and measurable growth follows.”
Based on our track record of serving hospitals coast-to-coast, Tiller-Hewitt customizes solutions based on the foundation of a powerful, proven method of improving business efficiency and effectiveness. This market intelligence and outreach system enables leaders to make data-driven strategic decisions and hardwire execution by selecting the right people for the business development role and providing them with robust training and support.
